Kingsway Academy won the Senior High Division and the  overall tournament in the Insurance Management School Teams 2005 Chess  Championships recently held at C. H. Reeves. Helped by team mates Craig  Cambridge and Christopher Worrell (not pictured), the two Thompson  brothers, Le Roi and Lemaro, scored a perfect five victories each to  win over second place finishers Old Bight Senior High from Cat Island.  Pictured (L-R): Kingsway Academy's Lemaro Thompson, Le Roi Thompson  and Craig Cambridge being presented with the School Teams Trophy by  Raymond Wilson from Insurance Management, the tournament's annual  sponsor.

 


Queen's College Junior High won the Junior School Teams division against South Haven, Old Bight and A.F. Adderley. Pictured are Q.C.'s Dominic Bower, who won four games and new-comer  Jonathan Delaney. Not pictured from Q.C. are Matthew Wong who scored 4 victories and Perry McHardy with 2.5 points.


In a closely-fought battle between second place finishers Cleveland Eneas Primary, South Haven Academy won the Primary School Division in the Insurance Management tournament. Pictured are (L-R): Primary champs from South Haven: Renaldo Cartwright, Mark Evans and Jason Bain. Missing is John Pintard.
