Interested Members of
the Bahamas Chess Federation are hereby informed that the
Bahamas Chess Federation is planning a Tournament Directors’
Course to be held before the end of this year, 2006.
This course will be
used as a prerequisite for the Arbiter’s Course which will
be offered to The Bahamas Chess Federation through the Chess
Assistance and Development Committee (CACDEC) of The World
Chess Federation (FIDE).
The Tournament
Director’s Course will cover aspects of directing Chess
Tournaments including manual use of the Swiss Pairing
System.
All interested parties
should note that space in the upcoming course will be
limited.
